South Florida Electrical Consultant, Inc. ("SFEC," "we," "us") operates sflaelec.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form or careers application form, we collect what you type in: name, email address, phone number, and the message or application details you provide. Submitting a form is voluntary.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider logs standard technical data for every visit — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and to keep the site running. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies for tracking.

What we don't collect. We do not ask for or store payment information, government ID numbers, or account passwords on this website.

2. How we use it

• To respond to your project inquiry, quote request, or job application.
• To communicate with you about work you've asked us about.
• To keep the website secure and diagnose technical problems.
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to a licensed Florida contractor.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed and stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc. (form handling and hosting, United States). Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. We may share information when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of SFEC, our employees, or others. We don't share it with anyone else.

4. Automated tools and AI

This website does not use artificial-intelligence systems to make decisions about you. If we ever use AI-assisted tools to help draft responses or sort inquiries, a person at SFEC reviews the result before anything is sent or decided. Job applications are read and evaluated by people.

5. How long we keep it

Contact inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and, if a project follows, for the life of that project and our record-keeping obligations. Job applications are kept for up to two years so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email Hector@sfla-elec.com or call (786) 299-2337. We'll respond within 30 days. Florida and other state residents may have additional rights under applicable law; we honor those requests too.

7. Children

This site is intended for businesses, agencies, and working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form data is transmitted encrypted and stored with our hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we limit what we collect and who can access it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here.
